Belthangady: A free comprehensive health check-up camp was organized for the staff of Shree Kshetra Dharmasthala Siri Grameena Udyoga Samsthe on September 29, 2025, at the Siri Central Office in Belhtangady. The event was jointly conducted by the Siri Club and the ICTC unit of the Taluk Government Hospital, Belthangady.
The camp was inaugurated by K. N. Janardhana, Managing Director of the Siri Institution, and Ammiya, Field Health Education Officer from the Taluk Health Office, by lighting the ceremonial lamp.
Presiding over the function, K. N. Janardhana spoke on the importance of early diagnosis and treatment, saying that identifying illnesses in the early stages and getting timely medical help can prevent serious health issues. He emphasized that if there are any health concerns, one should not keep them confidential but seek expert medical advice promptly to safeguard their life.
He further noted that around 90% of the Siri staff are women, and ensuring the good health of each woman employee contributes to the well-being of their families and homes. He encouraged everyone to make the best use of the health camp to lead a healthier life.
He also expressed gratitude to the doctors and staff of the Taluk Government Hospital and the officials of the Siri Club for organizing such an important camp focusing on the well-being of Siri employees.
Addressing the gathering, Ammiya, Field Health Education Officer, stated that rather than treating diseases after they occur—whether infectious or non-infectious—it is better to take preventive measures to avoid them. She said that under the guidance of the Siri MD, and with the support of expert doctors and staff from the ICTC unit of the Taluk Hospital, the camp was successfully organized with special concern for Siri employees' health.
Present at the event were Dr. Manisha, Medical Officer, Taluk Government Hospital, Leelavati, Senior Health Protection Officer, Rampal, ICTC Counselor, Ajay, BPM, ASHA and health workers
Vincent Lobo, Siri Club coordinator, welcomed the gathering. Jeevan, Warehouse Manager, hosted the event, and Kum. Rashmitha, President of Siri Club, delivered the vote of thanks.
