Revelation: 4:8 "Day and night without ceasing the four living creatures sing, “Holy, Holy, Holy, the Lord God the Almighty, Who was and is and is to come.”

Reflection

1st Reading, they get to see the Glory of God in Heaven and participate in Heavenly Worship, just like the elders who *cast their Crowns before the Throne, singing, “You are Worthy, our Lord and God, to receive Glory and Honor and Power, for You created all things, and by Your will they existed and were created (vs. 11).”

The Gospel of today calls us to listen  to god and take risk for a steady progress in knowing God, to live in accordance to his will in order to build the kingdom as the apostles Peter and Paul did, without counting the cost but risking their lives. Because investment is risking. The two servants risked hence they were satisfied and were rewarded. The one who did not risk was doomed to darkness.

Questions to ponder

How about you and me?

Do we take risks to trust God in spite of the uncertainties of life?

Do we risk to know God has the best plan for us, despite the challenges and hardships we face in life?

Do we risk to believe that god always walks with us even though we walk in the valley of darkness?

Let's us pray through the intercession of Sts. Peter and Paul that we may be filled with the Holy Spirit to participate in the heavenly worship one day  by risking our lives for God,  for his will and for his kingdom.
