Bantwal:  On Sunday August 24, ICYM Bantwal Deanery in collaboration with ICYM Allipade unit organized 'Yuva Sparsh 2025' the Deanery Youth Convention for all ICYM Bantwal Deanery youth. The event was graced by Rev. Fr. Maxim Noronha, Vicar General of Mangalore Diocese, as the president, and Mr. Christon Menezes, Founder Trustee of United for Change Charitable Trust, as the chief guest. Other dignitaries included Fr. Robert D'Souza, Director of ICYM Bantwal Deanery; Sr. Narcisa, Superior of Cluny Convent Allipade; Naveen Moras, Vice President of Parish Pastoral Council Allipade parish; Kiran Noronha, Secretary of Parish Pastoral Council Allipade parish , Prem Jeethan Pinto, President ICYM Bantwal Deanery, Renita Maria Cardoza, Secretary ICYM Bantwal Deanery and other unit leaders and representatives.

The program commenced with a prayer song sung by Sneha and team seeking God's blessings. Prem Jeethan Pinto, President ICYM Bantwal Deanery, welcomed the guests with a shawl and addressed the gathering. The inauguration of Yuva Sparsh 2025 was marked by a symbolic act of splashing fire, representing transformation and energy. Fr. Robert delivered an insightful speech, followed by the chief guest,  Christon Menezes, who spoke on the important role of youth in building a better community. He also inaugurated the 35-year logo.

After the stage program, a photo session was done with all the youth. Later Ashlin D'Souza,Wilson Pinto, Keith, Nelson, and Viola along with the Bantwal Deanery executive committee, started an action song with all the youth where everyone enjoyed and danced with laughter.

The day's first session featured Snake Kiran Mangalore, who was welcomed by Prem Jeethan Pinto. He delivered an interactive talk on snakes and nature showcasing live snakes. The session was a great success and Snake Kiran was honored with a token of love.

Later all the youth attended mass at Allipade Parish, celebrated by Rev. Fr. Victor D'Souza, Vicar Forane, Fr. Antony Lobo, Thodambila, Fr. Arun Mark Lobo, Farla, along with Fr. Robert D'Souza. Fr. Ashwin, Director ICYM Karnataka Region, delivered a talk for the youth.

After the mass a photo session was done and everyone moved towards lunch enjoying food, talk, fun, and laughter. Later an action song was performed by Ashlin and team followed by hilarious games divided into 12 teams. The second session featured Dr. Mona, who delivered an insightful talk on toxic relationships.

The cultural program featured performances by youth from Omzoor, Farla, Nirkan, Allipade, Modankap, Thodambila, and Kuppepadav. The Deanery Executive Committee and Fr. Robert performed a lively performance.

The valedictory ceremony honored Mr. Alwin D'Souza as the chief guest, along with Rev. Fr. Robert D'Souza and Sr. Deepa, Animator ICYM Allipade unit. Rinie and team sang a devotional song and Prem Jeethan welcomed the gathering. Melroy D'Souza, Vice President ICYM Mangalore Diocese, Salomi D'Souza, AICUF Karnataka President, and Arrol Sequeira, Immediate Past President, were honored for their dedicated service.

The event concluded with a baila performance by DJ Joel ,had a powerful live performance. The day's photography was handled by Mr. Kethan Rodrigues Farla.

The 35 year's logo was designed by Rolvish Fernandes, YouCat Secretary ICYM Bantwal Deanery, Arwin Fernandes, President ICYM Nirkan, and Primal Pinto, Pro/Amcho Yuvak Representative ICYM Bantwal Deanery. The master of ceremonies was conducted by Vanessa Moras and Leswin Farla. Nearly 180 youth participated in the event enjoying the day and gaining knowledge.
