Mangalore : St Theresa’s School hosted the AICS (Association of ICSE and CBSE schools) Chess Tournament “Skirmish of Squares 2019” .
The programme was inaugurated by Dr Praveen Raj, Principal of Alva’s Homeopathy Medical College. The Principal of the school -Sr Philomene Saldanha, Vice Principal- Sr Lourdes, Charleen Rebimbus- the P.T.A Vice President, Derick Pinto- Administrator of the Derik Chess School, Joseph Rodrigues- the Convenor of the Chess Tournament were also present.
The closing ceremony was attended by the Chief guest Dr. Nidarsh D Hegde – Consultant Surgeon, Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon and Implantologist, Principal, Vice Principal, Vice President of the P.T.A, Sujith Noronha – Traffic Management Team, Derick Pinto, Joseph Rodrigues and Anitha D’Souza the Physical Instructor of the Chess Tournament.
