ಓಮೈಕ್ರಾನ್ ಸೌಮ್ಯ ಎಂದರೂ ಇತರ ರೂಪಾಂತರಿಗಳ ಕಾಟ ನಿಂತಿಲ್ಲ. ಬುಧವಾರ ದಿನದ 24 ಗಂಟೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಜಗತ್ತಿನಲ್ಲಿ 21.4 ಲಕ್ಷದಷ್ಟು ಮಂದಿ ಕೊರೋನಾ ಸೋಂಕಿಗೀಡಾದರೆ, 12.2 ಸಾವಿರದಷ್ಟು ಜನರು ಸಾವಿಗೀಡಾದರು. ಹೀಗಾಗಿ ಒಟ್ಟು ಸೋಂಕಿತರ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯು 41,80,72,646 ಮುಟ್ಟಿದೆ. ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಸಾವು ಮೊತ್ತವು 58,68,638 ಆಗಿದೆ.

ಭಾರತದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೊರೋನಾ ಮೂರನೆಯ ಅಲೆಯು ಅಬ್ಬರ ಎಬ್ಬಿಸಿದೆ. ನಿನ್ನೆ ದಿನ ನಮ್ಮ ಜನ 30,015 ಮಂದಿ ಹೊಸದಾಗಿ ಕೊರೋನಾ ಸೋಂಕಿಗೊಳಗಾದರು. ಅಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ದೇಶದ ಒಟ್ಟು ಸೋಂಕಿತರ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯು 4,27,52,542 ದಾಟಿತು. ನಿನ್ನೆ ಬುಧವಾರ ದಿನ 514 ನಮ್ಮ ಜನ ಕೊರೋನಾ ಪೀಡೆಗೆ ಬಲಿಯಾದರು. ಇದರೊಂದಿಗೆ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೊರೋನಾ ಸಾವು‌ ಕಂಡವರ ಒಟ್ಟು ‌ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯು 5,10,441 ಮುಟ್ಟಿತು.

ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಳೆದ 24 ಗಂಟೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ 24 ಜನ ಕೋವಿಡ್‌ ಸಾವು ಕಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇದರಿಂದಾಗಿ ಒಟ್ಟು ಸಾವಿಗೀಡಾದವರ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯು 39,715 ತಲುಪಿತು. ನಿನ್ನೆ ಬುಧವಾರ ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೋಂಕಿಗೀಡಾದವರ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯು 1,894 ಇದೂ ಸೇರಿ ಒಟ್ಟು ಸೋಂಕಿತರ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯು ಈಗ 39,31,536 ದಾಟಿದೆ.

ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಕನ್ನಡ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬುಧವಾರ ದಿನದ 24 ಗಂಟೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕೋವಿಡ್‌ ಸಾವು 2   ಸಂಭವಿಸಿದೆ. ಸಾವು ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ 1,834ಕ್ಕೇರಿದೆ. ನಿನ್ನೆ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸೋಂಕು ತಗುಲಿದವರ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ 61. ಇದರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಒಟ್ಟು ಸೋಂಕಿತರ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯು 1,35,159 ಆಯಿತು.

ಉಡುಪಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನ್ನೆ ದಿನ ಕೊರೋನಾ ಸಾವು ಎರಡು ಸಂಭವಿಸಿದೆ. ಒಟ್ಟು ಸಾವಿನ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯು 538ಕ್ಕೇರಿದೆ. ಬುಧವಾರದ 24 ಗಂಟೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸೋಂಕಿಗೆ ಈಡಾದವರ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯು  69. ಇದೂ ಸೇರಿ ಸೋಂಕಿತರ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯು ಈಗ 95,396 ಆಗಿದೆ.
