Mangaluru: The Mangaluru City Traffic police have announced that asphalting work will be carried out on the road stretch between KIOCL Junction and Panambur Junction on August 7.

The work involves laying bitumen to address potholes and improve road conditions.

Maintenance work is scheduled to be carried out from August 7 to 13 along the stretch between Surathkal and Nanthoor. The work will take place between 11 am and 3 pm, as well as during night hours. The maintenance activities include pothole filling, patch repairs, and drain cleaning to improve road conditions and ensure smoother traffic flow.

In view of the repair work, traffic diversions will be implemented in the area to facilitate smooth execution and ensure public safety. Motorists are advised to plan their travel accordingly and follow the traffic signs and directions provided by traffic personnel on duty.

The police have urged the public to cooperate and bear with the temporary inconvenience, assuring that the roadwork is being undertaken for long-term benefit and improved commuting experience.
