Tuluva Maha Sabha, a global platform dedicated to the preservation and promotion of the Tulu language, heritage, and culture, is proud to announce the appointment of Mohair Shetty Kodavoor as the Coordinator of its USA Chapter.

Mohair Shetty Kodavoor

Born and raised in Delhi, Ms. Shetty completed her early education up to the 12th grade in the national capital and later pursued her Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Psychology, and Rural Development from Udupi, under Mangalore University. With a unique blend of academic knowledge, cultural passion, and leadership, she has significantly contributed to the Tulu and Kannada communities both in India and abroad.

Youngest Patron Member of the Delhi Bunts Cultural Association, First Female President of the All College Student Association (R) of Mangalore University, Udupi District, Featured in the Tulu movie "Right Bokka Left Nadutu Kudonji" and Kannada movie “400”, Served as President of the New England Tulu Koota, Boston (2021–2023), Regional Representative from New England, Boston for both the Bunts Association of North America (BANA) and the All America Tulu Association (AATA).

Played an important role in organizing a major cultural event for the inclusion of the Tulu language in the 8th Schedule, held at Delhi Kannada School under the banner of Delhi Tulu Siri, Actively volunteered in various cultural events and programs organized by Delhi Bunts Association, Delhi Karnataka Sangha, Delhi Tulu Siri, and Delhi Kannada School.

With her rich experience, dynamic leadership, and deep-rooted passion for Tulu identity and heritage, Ms. Mohair Shetty Kodavoor is expected to bring new energy and direction to the global Tulu movement from the United States.
