Mangaluru – The 10th edition of Pilinalike, the vibrant and much-celebrated tiger dance (pili vesha) competition, is all set to take Mangaluru by storm on October 1, 2025 at Karavali Utsava Ground. Organized in collaboration with Namma TV, this year’s event promises to be the grandest yet, with a star-studded lineup from Bollywood, Sandalwood, and the world of sports.
A press meet was held recently to announce the details of Pilinalike – 2025. Addressing the media, Mithun Rai stated that celebrities such as Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty, Kannada superstar Kiccha Sudeep, actress Pooja Hegde, filmmaker Raj B. Shetty, music director Gurukiran, cricketer Anjekar Rahane, Jitesh Sharma, and Olympic boxer Vijender Singh, among others, will grace the event as guests.

Event Highlights
The celebration can host up to 25,000 attendees at a time, with proper seating and amenities arranged.
The event will run non-stop from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM, featuring continuous performances.
Each participating team will get 20 minutes to showcase their talent.
A whopping ₹25 lakh prize pool has been announced:
First Prize: ₹10 lakh
Second Prize: ₹5 lakh
Third Prize: ₹3 lakh
Participation Prize: ₹50,000 for every team
In addition to performance prizes, six special category awards—Kappu Huli, Mari Huli, Taase Thanda, Mudi, Painting, and Pantha—will each receive ₹50,000 and a memento.
The event will be inaugurated by Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar. Distinguished guests include Rajya Sabha MP Naseer Hussain, Karnataka Congress in-charge Dinesh Gundu Rao, local MLAs, and MPs. As part of the 10th anniversary celebrations, Moodbidri Government School will be adopted for development initiatives.
M.N. Rajendra Kumar, President of SCDCC Bank Ltd., will be honoured with the Sahakari Ratna Award for his outstanding service to society.
