Varanasi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has won the Varanasi Lok Sabha constituency in Uttar Pradesh by a margin of 1.5 lakh votes. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who had won from the same Varanasi constituency in 2014 and 2019, has now claimed victory.
Narendra Modi with total votes of 612970 against Ajay Rai Congress candidate who was leading in the initial few rounds, has been defeated with 460457 votes.
The other candidates Ather Jamal Lari-Bahujan Samaj Party 33766, Kolishetty Shiva Kumar- Yuga Thulasi Party 5750, Gagan Prakash Yadav- Apna Dal (Kamerawadi) 3634, Independent candidates Dinesh Kumar Yadav 2917, Sanjay Kumar Tiwari 2171, NOTA 8478 votes have recieved.
