Mangalore:- Continuing its tradition of securing sponsorship and excelling in the Project Exhibitions organized by Karnataka State Council of Science and Technology (KSCST), students of St Joseph Engineering College, Mangaluru, won two,“Best Project of the Year Award” under KSCST 43rd Series of Student Projects Programme (SPP).
For the academic year 2019-2020, a total of 13 students’ project proposals from SJEC were approved for KSCST sponsorship. Out of these, the following two projects bagged the Best Project Award:
The first project titled “Design and Fabrication of Combined Wheelchair and Bed” was carried out by Preetham A Almeida, Naveen G Chalwadi, Paramvir Singh Chambyal and Rion Francis Pinto, under the guidance of Yathish Kumar K and Dr Binu KG from the Department of Mechanical Engineering.
The first project titled “Eye in the Sky”was carried out by Sushan Sapaliga, Princy Paul D’Silva, Rachel Pinto and SB Shubra, under the guidance of Vijetha U from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering.
