Mangalore: Flights from Mangaluru International Airport to Gulf countries have been disrupted due to Iran's missile attack on US military bases in the Gulf country Qatar.

An Air India Express flight from Mangaluru has been diverted to Muscat instead of Dammam. An Indigo flight to Abu Dhabi has landed in Mumbai. Both flights have now returned to Mangaluru.

Middle Eastern countries have closed their airspace due to the Iranian missile attack. Flights have returned to Mangaluru as the airspace there has been closed. The airport administration has informed about the disruptions in international flights from Mangaluru. Passengers have been requested to contact the airlines before arriving at the airport to get information.

As the Israel-Iran conflict intensified, the United States also attacked Iran's nuclear facilities. In response, the Iranian army launched a missile attack on US military bases in the Gulf country of Qatar. US President Donald Trump also gave information about this and said that no damage was done to US bases due to the Iranian attack. In the wake of this conflict, Middle Eastern countries have closed their airspace. This has also affected the passengers of Mangalore.
