Founded in 1910, for more than 111 years, Bowling Green State University (BGSU) is a Public University for the Public Good. BGSU invited crusader Harold Henry D’Souza to enrich students on the ‘Red Flags’ of Human Labour Trafficking’ in the United States of America.
This auspicious ‘Inter Professional Education’ event was hosted by the BGSU, College of Health and Human Services, at Bowen-Thompson Student Union (BTSU Ballroom) on October 3, 2023 from 6pm to 8pm.
A simulation on sex trafficking and labor trafficking was shown to the students. Harold D’Souza reflected on labour trafficking scenario as a ‘Content Expert’ after students shared their observations.
Fr. Freddy from Vyara, Gujarat spoke to the press; ‘Kudos to Harold! Many congrats for all the good work Harold is continuously doing for the suffering and marginalized people, to enable them to live with justice, dignity, love and peace. Harold as usual is an inspiration and motivation for plenty of people, victims of injustice, oppression, trafficking and torture, to overcome misery and wretchedness and to live in dignity and full freedom. Kudos to Harold!’

Dr. Lara Wilken Professor at BGSU shared, ‘Harold truly was amazing, the students will never forget any of the delegates. Everyone that encounters Harold becomes a better human being. So incredibly grateful to Harold and his ability to touch hearts’.

Today Harold D’Souza serves as an Ambassador Advisory Council for the Ohio Attorney General’s Human Trafficking Commission. He shares his expertise as a Survivor on the Advisory Council with Collaborative to End Human Trafficking.
A native of Bajpe, Mangaluru, Harold D’Souza is creating ripples of hope in the United States of America and Worldwide to combat human trafficking.
