Mangalore:- As per the district health bulletin, a total of 8,27,671 samples have been tested so far, out of which 7,57,332 have turned out to be negative. The total number of positive cases in the district has risen to 70,339, out of which 10,395 are currently active. As many as 873 patients were discharged from hospitals on Sunday, taking the total number of recoveries to 59,084. The district recorded six deaths due to coronavirus on Sunday. The death toll in the district so far stands at 860, out of which four are non-Covid deaths.
Udupi:- As per the district health bulletin, as many as 5,66,549 samples have been tested so far. As many as 909 new cases were reported on Sunday, taking the total number of cases to 52,661, out of which 5,773 are currently active. A total of 1,197 patients were discharged from hospitals on Sunday, taking the total number of recoveries to 39,668.Coronavirus has claimed 302 lives in the district so far, including four on Sunday.
