Bahrain: The Indian Club - Bahrain, Cricket Hangama have concluded with the nail biting final match between Shaheen Group vs Smart Jai Karnataka teams. The one month long cricket tourney started in style on the 14th of November’22 and the cricket event pulled the concourse to the cricket arena of IC- Bahrain till the finale held on 15th December’22. The tournament offered a total prize money of USD 500/- along with trophies, medals & special recognition to individual talents. Title of the Men’s tournament was sponsored by Megamart and one of the major individual sponsors was Nahaz Omar of Value Line.
A total of 20 men teams and 6 women teams were short listed for the tournament and the event planned as both league cum knock out basis. After the league rounds, Smart Jai Karnataka A played against Riffa. Indian star in the 1st Semi Final, and Shaheen Group played against Smart cc in the 2nd Semi Final. And the final match of the event was played between Shaheen Group v/s Smart Jai Karnataka. The match was nail biting and even the classic strokes of Remi, who scored 20 runs for his team Smart Jai Karnataka, couldn’t succeed the mammoth total of their opponent Shaheen Group. The Man-of-the-Match of the thrilling final’s, Shaheen Natique of Shaheen Group team have displayed his all-round performance by scoring 18 runs and took 2 wickets by conceding just 9 runs, which enabled his team to make his team’s final victory over Smart Jai Karnataka by 9 runs.

Best Bowler - Naveen from Riffa Indian Star, Best Batter - Richard of Smart Jai Karnataka A Man of the Series - Shaheen Natique of Shaheen Group. In women cricket tournament, the event had got an exclusive sponsor, Noor Sports – Bahrain (NSB).
This time the spectators have witnessed high quality games when comparing to the yester years. The viewers really enjoyed the game spirit and aggression of the ladies team and good professional cricket displayed by majority of the players. In a thrilling final match Team KSB won over their opponent Champions X1 by 10 runs.

In the award ceremony of the event the various prominent personalities and The Marketing Manager of Mega Mart Manoj and the Cluster Manager of Mega Mart Jathender, Kannada Sangh President Pradeep, and Noor of NSB, were present along with the executive committee of the Indian Club. The Indian Club President K M Cherian chaired the function along with the Vice President of the Indian Club Sany Paul Kolengaden and on behalf of the executive committee, conveyed special appreciation and thanks to all the sponsors, players, officials and all supporting staff’s, who made this event a grand success.
