Udupi: On July 21 Sugunendra Swamiji the Seer of Puttige Mutt had tested positive for corona virus. He was admitted to KMC Hospital of Udupi.
On August the Mutt official sources had said that Swamiji has been discharged from hospital and returned to his original home.
When Swamiji returned from Bengaluru, it was found that Swamiji has Covid related symptoms. When his swab tested he was tested positive for corona virus. Admitted to the Hospital on July 21.
During this time the hospital officials had arranged to perform worship during the festival of Nagarapanchami. Devotees also prayed for the healing of Swamiji.
At present, Swamiji is fully recovered from the infection and has returned to the Mutt. Engaged in daily worship ritual in the Mutt. Doctors have advised her to rest for a few more days, sources in the Mutt said.
