Bengaluru, Jan 16: Priyanka Gandhi, who has arrived at Na Nayaki Mahila Samavesh, has announced that if the Congress party comes to power in the state, it will provide financial assistance of Rs 2,000 per month to every woman in the state in the name of Grahalaxshmi Yojana.
The Congress, which has been constantly giving necessary plans for the empowerment of women in the state and the country, has decided to announce a separate manifesto for women in the Karnataka assembly elections. If the Congress comes to power, what do the women of the state want from our government? To know that, Mr. DK Shivakumar, President of KPCC, called upon the women of the state to share their feelings, problems, suggestions and opinions.
In response to this call, thousands of suggestions have been received in the form of social media, e-mail, WhatsApp and letters to the party office. In this, most of the women shared their opinion that they are expecting a solution from the Congress party for the price rise problem. He said that as a result of price rise, the workers at home are suffering due to lack of salary.
Women are the power source of our home and state. Due to the increase in the price of essential items, the hardships they are experiencing in maintaining their families and homes are severe.
In this background, the Congress Party has announced the Grihalaxshmi Yojana with the aim of providing assistance to the women of the state. Through this scheme, the Congress government will provide financial assistance of ₹ 2,000 per month to one housewife of each family in the state and ₹ 24,000 per year.
