Puttur: In order to share the happiness of Christmas with the members of Philo family St Philomena College and St Philomena P U College organized a Christmas get together 2019 at Silver Jubilee Memorial Hall of the College.
The Campus Director and Chairperson of PG Studies and Research Centre of the College Rev. Dr Antony Prakash Monteiro gave his message. He said, ‘Christmas tells us that God became a man. It is an occasion which tells us that we should become good human beings. The real spirit of this festival lies in sharing and caring for each other.’
The IQAC Coordinator Dr A P Radhakrishna gave a message on this occasion. He said, ‘The life and teachings of Jesus Christ are the motivations for all of us. He always thought about the wellbeing of the common people. The celebration of festivals must bring peace, equality, unity and wellbeing in the society.’ Anuradha Bharadwaj B R sang the prayer song. The Principal Prof. Leo Noronha welcomed the gathering. The Principal of PU College Rev. Fr Vijay Lobo proposed the vote of thanks. The faculty Prashanth Rai compered the programme.
