Mangaluru, Oct. 14: Due to road development work being undertaken from Pumpwell Circle to Kankanady Bypass in the city, a temporary traffic diversion notice has been issued from October 13 to April 15 (for 7 months).
During the first and second phases of the road development work from Pumpwell Circle to Kankanady Bypass, one side of the two-way road from Karavali Junction to Pumpwell has been temporarily designated as a one-way route. Similarly, the road from Pumpwell via Kankanady Old Road to Kankanady Junction has also been temporarily made a one-way route. Parking of all types of vehicles on both sides of the one-way roads is strictly prohibited.
All vehicles coming from Padil and Thokkottu sides to Pumpwell Circle and heading toward Karavali Junction must travel via Kankanady Old Road to Kankanady Junction and then turn right toward Karavali Junction. Likewise, all vehicles coming from Falnir Road and Valencia Road toward Pumpwell must go straight to Karavali Junction from Kankanady Junction and then turn right to reach Pumpwell Circle, as directed by the City Police Commissioner.
