The deceased boy's name is Vivek. He was addicted to mobile gaming. He used to play Free Fire game for hours every day. He was alone at home on the day of the incident. When his sister came home, she found Vivek lying on the bed. Free Fire Game was running on his mobile phone. Doctors have called this sudden death. In medical terms, it is called Sudden Gamer Death.
What is Sudden Gamer Death? :
If you die while playing a game on your mobile phone or computer, it is called Sudden Gamer Death. In this case, the person does not suffer any injury. Or not to fight with anyone and die. According to research by the US National Institutes of Health, there have been about 24 cases worldwide where people have died while playing games continuously. The first death occurred in 1982. The remaining 23 deaths occurred between 2002 and 2021. Most of the cases have occurred in Southeast Asian countries.
These include countries such as Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia. Most of the victims of sudden gamer deaths are men. All of the deceased were between the ages of 11 and 40.
