Mangalore, May 1: Vehicle Owned by Rachana Nayak Reg. No. KA03NB4648 was siezed by Kanakanady Police Today evening May 1 for throwing garbage in Nethravi river.
The act was caught in camera today morning. The video had gone viral on social media where a elder lady throw garbage in Nethravathi River and the other lady was seen wiping the car back side windshield.
After video goes viral kuddos to Kankanady police officials who has taken a swift action by seizing the vehicle and request has been sent to Magistrate to include Disaster Management Act Section 51(b) also as they were found not wearing masks.
A case has been registered against the owner of the car Rachana Nayak under crime 56/2021 under section 269, 270 IPC.
