12 soldiers killed on the spot:

A remote-controlled IED attack by the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) on a Pakistan army vehicle in the Mach Kund area of Bolan district of Balochistan has killed 12 Pakistani soldiers on the spot in this attack.

When did this attack take place?

The attack took place on May 7, 2025, when a Pakistani army convoy was on patrol in the Shorkand area. The BLA has claimed responsibility for the attack. The attack was carried out by the BLA's Special Tactical Operations Wing (STOS). The vehicle was completely destroyed in the attack and all the soldiers on board were killed.

On Tuesday, the Pakistan Army said in a statement that seven Pakistani soldiers were killed when an improvised explosive device hit their vehicle. Pakistan has blamed India for the attack, but India has not yet responded to the allegations.

Under Operation Sindoor, 9 terrorist hideouts were destroyed in Pakistan and PoK. More than 70 Pakistani terrorists were killed in the Indian attack. However, Pakistan claims that 26 terrorists were killed.
