Mysore, April 4: To clear the extra rush of passengers during the summer vacations, South Western Railway has announced special train services from Mysore and Bengaluru to other states. These special trains will run from Mysore to Ajmer and SMVT from Bengaluru to Bhagat Ki Kothi. This move aims to provide convenience to passengers and reduce train congestion

South Western Railway will operate a total of 11 special train services on the Mysore-Ajmer route.

Train No. 06281: Will depart Mysore at 8:00 AM on every Saturday, April 5, 12, 19, 26, May 3, 10, 17, 24, 31 and June 7, 14 and will reach Ajmer at 6:55 AM on Monday.

Train No. 06282: Will depart Ajmer on every Monday, April 7, 14, 21, 28, May 5, 12, 19, 26 and June 2, 9, 16 at 6:50 PM and reach Mysore on Wednesday at 5:30 PM

These trains will run via Hassan, Arsikere, Birur, Chikkajajur, Chitradurga, Rayadurga, Bellary Cantonment, Hospet Junction, Koppal, Gadag, SSS Hubli, Dharwad, Londa, Belgaum, Gokak Road, Ghataprabha, Rayabagh, Kudachi, Miraj, Sangli, Pune, Lonavala, Kalyan, Vasai Road, Surat, Vadodara, Ratlam, Mandsaur, Nimach, Chittorgarh, Bhilwara, It will stop at Bijai Nagar and Nasirabad stations.

SMVT Bangalore-Bhagat Ki Kothi Summer Special (Train No. 06557/06558)

A total of 8 trips of special train services will be available between SMVT Bangalore and Bhagat Ki Kothi.

Train No. 06557: SMVT will depart from Bangalore at 7:00 PM on April 5, 12, 19, 26 and May 3, 10, 17, 24 and will reach Bhagat Ki Kothi at 1:40 PM on Monday.

Train No. 06558: SMVT will depart from Bhagat Ki Kothi at 11:10 PM on April 7, 14, 21, 28 and May 5, 12, 19, 26 and will reach SMVT Bangalore at 3:30 PM on Wednesday.

These trains will halt at Tumkur, Arsikere, Birur, Davangere, Haveri, SSS Hubli, Dharwad, Belgaum, Gokak Road, Ghataprabha, Raybagh, Kudachi, Miraj, Sangli, Karad, Satara, Pune, Lonavala, Kalyan, Vasai Road, Surat, Vadodara, Sabarmati, Mahesana, Bhildi, Raniwara, Marwar, Binmal, Jalore, Mokalsar, Sandhari Junction and Luni stations. The train has a total of 21 coaches, which include 19 AC coaches and 2 second class luggage cum guard coaches.

This special train service will provide additional convenience to those travelling during the summer vacation and this move of the Railways has been welcomed by the passengers.
