Moodbidri, Aug 06: A life skills training workshop was held on August 6 for all students at the University College in Bannadka, Moodbidri, which comes under the administration of Mangalore University.
The chief resource person for the workshop was Mr. Rayi Rajkumar Moodbidri — a trainer at Bangalore’s Spark Academy, a state-level resource person, and a journalist.
He emphasized to students that, regardless of the time or circumstances, one should face challenges courageously, wisely, and effectively without losing heart. During the learning phase, one should try to engage in diverse and practical learning experiences as much as possible to gain proficiency and grow.
He explained, with several examples, that the more we understand even the small things in our daily lives, and the more we seek answers to questions, the more our knowledge expands.
Dr. Ajith Kumar D’Souza, the Student Welfare Officer, presided over the event. Student representatives Uday and Nikhita were present on the dais. Chetan gave the welcome address, Akshatha Nayak compered the program, and Sukanya proposed the vote of thanks.
