Massive cloudburst in Uttarkashi – Village washed away by flood

Uttarakashi: The entire village has been completely destroyed by the fierce Kheer Ganga, and more than 60 people are suspected to have been washed away by the flood. NDRF and SDRF have rushed to the spot and rescue operations are underway.

Water suddenly gushed from the top of the hill like a river and washed away the entire village. Many houses have been destroyed in the flood, and vehicles and shops have also been destroyed. The scene of this massive flood is being circulated on social media and is heartbreaking. People are seen screaming due to the sudden flood.

Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami has received information about the tragedy. There are reports of extensive damage in the cloudburst. Rescue work is underway at the site, said Pushkar Singh Dhami.
