Mangaluru: "ROOLATHAN," a national-level 24-hour Hackathon, is scheduled to take place on December 21-22, 2023, at Srinivas Institute of Technology, Mangaluru. This Hackathon aims to unite students in addressing real-world challenges using technology. The event is organized by SIT's Institution's Innovation Council (IIC) in association with GDSC, EDP, and Yukthi Cell. This national-level 24-hour Hackathon will focus on three problem statements provided by the industry, along with an open theme: "Building a Community towards Sustainable Development." It offers a substantial prize pool of up to 20K and internship opportunities, motivating students to create impactful technologies for community improvement. Participants can develop solutions during “ROOLATHON” under the following tracks:
1. Financial Inclusion through Technology
2. Block-chain Innovation in Finance
3. AI-driven Financial Advisor
4. Open Statement (Addressing real-world problems, whether in healthcare, education, the environment, or any other sector)
Dr. CA A. Raghavendra Rao, President of A. ShamaRao Foundation and Chancellor of Srinivas University, Mangaluru, will preside over the function. Dr. A. Srinivas Rao, Vice President of A. Shama Rao Foundation and Pro-Chancellor of Srinivas University, Mangaluru, will be the Guest of Honor. Mohammed Raees, Managing Director, ROOLOO, Mangaluru will be the Chief Guest for this event. Raksha, Director from ROOLOO, Mangaluru, will be the Guest for this event.
