This prestigious appointment has been officially announced by the Hon. Vice Chancellor of VTU through the Karnataka Governor's Secretariat Notification No. GS 06 TUM 2025, dated 25th June 2025, under Section 22 of the VTU Act, 1994.
The Academic Senate is the highest academic body of VTU and plays a pivotal role in shaping the university's educational policies and directions. Dr. Basthikodi’s inclusion in this esteemed body is recognition of his outstanding contributions to technical education and academic leadership.
