Mangaluru: University Evening College Celebrated 153rd Gandhi Jayanthi on 2nd October 2022 at the College Campus.
Chief Speaker Dr. Devadas Pai, Co-ordinator of MA Konkani gave a description of life history of Mahatma Gandhiji and his principles. He gave a wakeup call to follow the Principles of Gandhiji to be Truthful, Pure, Human, Equality, Simple, Non-Violent and Disciplined.
Dr. Jagadeesh B, Co-ordinator of MCom, MBA (IB) expressed that where there is love there is life. Life becomes chaos when there is no love. The whole humanity can be happy if our Speech, Thought and Deed is pure like Gandhijy.
Dr. Yathish Kumar, Co-ordinator of GST gave a alert call to be blind to forgive mistakes of others which the great Soul Gandhiji taught to the humanity.
Principal Dr. Subhashini Shrivatsa in her presidential talk expressed that it is difficult to accept truth, but Gandhiji could achieve it. Gandhiji put all his effort in wiping the tears from every eye. Only he could become Mahatma for the whole glob.
Venkatesh Nayak, Lecturer of Commerce Composed the program and rendered the vote of thanks. Dr. Rathi, Lecturer of Economics invoked the prayer. Teaching and non-teaching staff were present.
