Mangalore: It is teacher's social commitment to adopt student-friendly examination methods and deliver result in time, opined Mangalore University Registrar (Evaluation) Prof. P.L Dharma.
Speaking at a workshop- 'An experiment with in house examination process’ recently organized by the Mangalore University at Ravindra Kalabhavana, University College, he added, "Though we are technically advanced, our commitment plays a major role. Along with the new software, Mangalore University is also trying to improve the professionalism among faculty and staff.”
Harish Shetty of Department of Electronic and Communication Engineering, Mangalore Government Polytechnic for Women, who developed the new MU Lynx software said, "This software is simple to use and will enable the university to have complete control over the entire process.”
Principal Dr. A Harisha welcomed the guests, Mangalore University Evaluation Section Special Officer Ramesh extended vote of thanks. More than 200 members, including the principals and assistant staff of various colleges under Mangalore University participated in the event.
