Mangalore: Dakshina Kannada Athletics Association - DKAA is organizing a mega event 'Sahyadri 10K Run Mangaluru' .With the objective of making Swaccha - Parisara - Hasiru - Usiru at Mangaluru, Dakshina Kannada Athletics Association - DKAA isorganizing a mega event 'Sahyadri 10K Run Mangaluru'. This event is promoted by Bhandary Foundation, Mangaluru. We believe, byspreading 'Green, Healthy- Mangaluru' through the involvement and participation of general public, hailing from various professions, we will be able to achieve our motto of this event.

We are also conducting Run for the age group of 10-16 years, wherein the selected boys & girls will be trained under DKAA, to produce Future Champions of Mangaluru. We are inviting the Public, Government Agencies, Institutions, Companies & Corporates, Social Organisations and also people from different professions, etc. By participating in this event, Health & Fitness consciousness can be spread across the Dakshina Kannada region.

In order to accomplish this mission and to create awareness of a healthy environment, Dakshina Kannada Athletic Association is organizing a Mega event 'Sahyadri 10K Run, Mangaluru', in line with Fit India Movement. This event is promoted by Bhandary Foundation in association with the Dept. of Youth Empowerment & Sports, Govt. of Karnataka; Mangalore University; Visvesvaraya Technological University and Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science.
