Mangalore: MSNM Besant Institute of Post Graduate Studies is hosting a full day conference on 'Start-ups in India – Challenges, Issues and Opportunities' in association with Kanara Chamber of Commerce and Industry Thursday, 20th February 2020 at Nethravathi Auditorium at MSNM Besant campus at Bondel, Mangalore.
Dr. A. M. Khan, Registrar, Mangalore University will inaugurate the conference at 9.30 a.m. Sri Vittaldas Leeladhar, Former Deputy Governor, Reserve Bank of India will deliver the Keynote Address.
The conference will give an insight into the issues involved in starting a new business. The day is divided into four sessions: (1) Experience sharing by a successful founder of a start up. (2) Role of private equity in promoting start ups. (3) Role of incubation centres in promoting start ups. (4) Panel Discussions.
Swasthik Padma, Mr. Bobby Pauly, Mr. Gaurang Shetty and Dr. Madanmohan Rao are the resource persons for the different sessions.
K. Devananda Pai, Secretary, Women's National Education Society (WNES) will be the chief guest for the Valedictory function at 4.30 p.m.
