Mangalore, A 20: Former MLA and senior Congress leader, Moideen Bawa, who was aspirant for Congress ticket from Mangalore North Constituency, has announced his resignation from the party after losing the ticket to Inayat Ali.
He spoke to media in Mangalore and alleged that although there was a vote in my favor in the Congress party, the party president DK Shivakumar sold the ticket for Mangalore North constituency and treated me like an enemy. The party has done injustice to me.
Inayat Ali was announced ticket from Mangalore North yesterday 19 April 2023 and it was said that he would be filing his nomination Today 20 April 2023.
During all these developments Bawa has announced his resignation from Congress and joining JDS(S). He said that he is submitting nomination papers from JDS this afternoon at 12.45pm.
