Dharwad: With a view to give a greater thrust to its retail banking business also related to speedy disposal of such proposals Karnataka Vikas Grameena Bank (KVGB) has opened Retail Loan Processing Cell (RLPC) at Dharwad on Wednesday.
Inaugurating the Loan processing cell, Shreekant M Bhandiwad, Chairman of the Bank said that the RLPC in the first instance will cater to the needs of the City branches of Dharwad Region in processing and sanction of retail Loan Products like Housing loans, Mortgage loans, Vehicle Loans, Education Loans etc. This hub will accelerate appraisal, sanction and disbursal of retail loans, reducing thereby response time drastically (TAT). The Bank plans to set up more number of RLPCs across its area of operation in the days to come.
Further, he said that the interest rate on the bank's retail loan products including housing loan is very competitive and he requested to the general public to get the advantage of it.
The branches collect the required documents in the first stage and send them to this hub for processing and speed sanctions.
General Managers of the Bank, R T Kamble, Staeesha R, Sathyaprasad N , Punith M, and Regional Manager, Dharwad K S Bhat and and other executives are present on the occasion.
