Mangaluru: ‘Somya Sangi’ a guide to conduct Holy Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament written by Rev. Fr. Joswin Praveen D’Souza was released on 17 December 2020 at St Vincent Ferrer Church, Valencia. The book is published by Mangala Jyothi, the biblical catechetical and liturgical center of the diocese.
Most Rev. Dr. Peter Paul Saldanha, Bishop of Mangalore Diocese released the book. Rev. Fr Roque D’Sa, parish priest of Valencia Church, Rev. Fr Lancy D’Souza, assistant parish priest of Valencia Church, David Pais, Vice President of Parish Pastoral Council and Rita Menezes, the Secretary of Parish Pastoral Council were also present during the occasion.
The book contains twenty five themes for adoration which can be used to conduct adoration of the blessed sacrament in groups as well as in private.
