Mangalore: Nadanritya School of Dance and Cultural Trust Director, dancer, choreographer and professor Dr Bhramari Shivaprakash was felicitated as a part of ‘International Women’s Day’ under the auspices of Gandhian Centre for Philosophical Arts and Sciences (GCPAS), MAHE. 

Dr Bhramari Shivaprakash, who is known for her solo performances and choreography for many years now, has also completed her PhD on the dance-dramas. The GCPAS Head Prof. Varadesh Hiregange delivered the felicitation address. ‘Radge Emba Gathe’, ‘Devayaniya Swagata’ ‘Urvashi’, ‘Panchali’, ‘Seeteya Swagata’ are her major solo performances. ‘Nenapadalu Shakuntale’, ‘Ahalye’, ‘Shabarigaayitu Shriramadarshana’ are her major choreographic works. Dr Bhramari also presented a solo dance performance on the occasion. Ms Gauthami and Prof. Kausthubha Shetty co-ordinated the programme. All the women employees of GCPAS were also felicitated on this occasion.
