Mangalore, Oct 29: Protest against Surathkal Toll Gate creating a buzz in the town. The protest committee leaders and members gathered at 10 am on Friday. The protest held day and Night infront of the toll road.
KPCC coordinator Prathibha Kulai said " People have lost faith in ruling party government and MP Nalin Kumar Kateel. Past seven years postponing of the toll gate removal. November 9 was the deadline for the clearance. Voter's do not trust Mp, MLA, officers promises. The protest will not stop until illegal toll gate stops toll collection.
DYFI leader Muneer Katipalla said, " Enough of looting people in the name of toll gate. The ruling MP's, MLA's have agreed the Surathkal toll gate is illegal but no action is being taken.
