New Delhi: More than 100 flights scheduled to operate from Delhi airport experienced delays early Wednesday morning due to dense fog that reduced visibility.

There have been no reports of flight rerouting or cancellations, according to an official statement.

IndiGo Airlines commented on the situation, stating, "Due to dense fog covering Delhi and low visibility, some flights have been delayed. We are monitoring the weather conditions and are doing our best to ensure passengers are safely and smoothly accommodated."

Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL), the managing authority of the airport, noted that only flights equipped with non-Cat III technology are expected to be impacted. Cat III technology enables aircraft to operate safely in low-visibility conditions, minimizing disruptions during foggy weather.
