Mangalore:- As per the district health bulletin, a total of 8,51,022 samples have been tested so far, out of which 7,74,823 have turned out to be negative. The total number of positive cases in the district has risen to 76,199, out of which 9,133 are currently active. As many as 840 patients were discharged from hospitals on Monday, taking the total number of recoveries to 66,153. The district recorded seven deaths due to coronavirus on Monday. The death toll in the district so far stands at 913.
Udupi:- As per the district health bulletin, as many as 2,24,228 samples have been tested since the second wave of coronavirus. As many as 519 new cases were reported on Monday, taking the total number of cases to 35,116, out of which 5,092 are currently active. A total of 765 patients were discharged from hospitals on Monday, taking the total number of recoveries to 29,881.Coronavirus has claimed 143 lives in the district, including four on Monday.
