Mangaluru: Cherrilearn, a Mangaluru-based impact-driven EdTech startup, has partnered with a renowned software services company Code Craft Technologies headquartered in Mangaluru—with offices in the United States and Canada and clients across the globe—to provide free digital learning access to 1,000 students in government Kannada medium schools across Dakshina Kannada district for the 2024–25 academic year.
The initiative was formally inaugurated earlier this month with the implementation of Cherrilearn in two government schools in Uli Village, BantvalTaluk, reaching 300 students in its first phase. The platform offers gamified, interactive, curriculum-aligned content in Kannada, designed for primary-grade students in rural areas, accessible even in low-bandwidth environments. The inauguration was led by Jobin Joseph P J, Operations Lead at Code Craft Technologies, and Shrinidhi R S, CEO of Cherrilearn ,Sajna Bhaskar , HR Team Lead Cherrilearnand other team members, in the presence of Vishalakshi C S and Purushothama Headmistress and SDMC President of Government Primary School, Uli, Bantval, and Mamatha and Rohinatha Gowda, Headmistress and SDMC President of Government Primary School, Ulibail, Bantval.
To ensure smooth implementation, Cherrilearn has signed an official Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Department of Primary and Secondary Education, Dakshina Kannada, establishing a coordinated framework for deployment and monitoring in collaboration with school authorities.
