Bahrain: The Semi Finals of the Bahrain International Series 2023 were packed with thrilling matches & the spectators are happy to see the nail biting finishes. As per the schedule the Semi-finals of all the five categories of The Bahrain International Badminton Tournament 2023 were held on Saturday 18th November 2023.
In Men Singles, Ayush hetty – India (BWF World Junior Championship 2023 – Bronze medallist) made his way to the finals after his win over LIU Liang (CHN) 21-10, 21-19. Wang Zheng Xing (CHN) entered into the finals after his win over Manraj Singh (IND) 21-10, 21-18.
In Women Singles, Chen Lu (CHN) entered into the finals after her win over Meghana Reddy Mareddy 24-22, 21-5 & DAI Wang (CHN) entered into the finals after her win over WU Luo Yu 12-21, 21-17, 21-15.
In Men’s Doubles, XIE Hao Nan+ZENG Wei Han (CHN) entered into the finals after their win over Rohit JAYAKUMAR+Vishnu SREEKUMAR (IND) 21-9 21-12 & Sirawit SOTHON+Natthapat TRINKAJEE (THA) entered into the finals after their win over CUI He Chen+SUN Wen Jun (CHN) 21-11 21-15.
In Women’s Doubles, DING KeYun+WANGZi Meng (CHN)entered into the finals after their win over Velisha CHRISTINA+Bernadine Anindya WARDANA(INA)21-18 21-19 & WANG Ting Ge+WANG Yi Duo (CHN) entered into the finals after their win over(IRI) Ferdous FOROUGHI+Mobina NEDAEI 21-6 21-6.
In Mixed Doubles ZHOU ZhiHong+YANGJia Yi (CHN) entered into the finals after their win over(IND) Sathish Kumar KARUNAKARAN+Aadya VARIYATH[2] 21-17 14-21 21-15 & MA Xi Xiang+WU Meng Ying (CHN) entered into the finals after their win over(UAE) Wildan SHOLIH+Taabia KHAN 13-21 21-13 21-13.
The grand finale Bahrain International Series 2023 will be held on Sunday 19th November 2023 starting from 3pm onwards.
