Mangaluru: Aakash Educational Services Limited (AESL), a leading educational institution in the country for exam training services, has launched KCET (Karnataka Common Entrance Test) courses for students of XI and XII classes in Karnataka.
These courses are designed to help students successfully face regional entrance exams conducted by engineering colleges and the JEE (Main) exam. The courses will begin after the completion of the Pre-University Board Exams and will be conducted in English.
The KCET courses are part of Aakash's strategy to expand its presence in regional markets and provide quality training to students following the CBSE curriculum as well as those from state board schools.
Aakash has earned a reputation for consistently training top-ranking students in the KCET exam. Meghna H.K. (2021), Apoorv Tandon (2022), and Vignesh N. (2023) were the highest-scoring students in the state.

For students advancing from class 10 to 11, Aakash will conduct two-year integrated courses for KCET and JEE (Main) 2027 (CBSE/PUC) entrance exams between March 2025 and May 2025, and after the announcement of results, in June-July 2025. For students moving from class 11 to 12, the one-year integrated course for KCET and JEE (Main) 2026 (CBSE/PUC) entrance exams will begin in March-April 2025 in English.
The Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET), conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA), serves as the gateway for admission to engineering, technology, architecture, Bachelor of Yoga & Naturopathy (BNYS), B.Sc. Nursing, and Bachelor of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry (B.V.Sc. & A.H.) courses.
