Mangalore: Since there are a lot of misconceptions about solar eclipses that exposure to sunlight during that time could cause skin diseases and such physical harm we have decided to dispel them by swimming during that time by which almost whole of the body would be exposed to the rays of the eclipsed sun.
So,some of our members have decided to take our daily swim during the time of the eclipse on 26that the Mangalore Corporation swimming pool. We have also decided to watch the eclipse using specially procured glasses and also consume food during the time We request you to kindly cover the event particularly the swimming during the time of the totality of the eclipse at 9.10 am . Solar watching devices are also available with us to view Magic Munna a close up magician of repute will also perform during this time.
