Mangaluru: Senior teacher and writer Chandrakala Nandawar expressed her opinion that using new English words in literature can be contextually beneficial. According to her, the inclusion of original English words can make it easier to convey the intended meaning in the current globalized context.

She shared her views during the book launch event for "Abharanagalu" by Raymond D'cuna Taccode, held at the Press Club. Speaking at the event, she lamented the pressures faced by journalists and writers, noting the challenges in deciding what to write, say, or teach. She emphasized the importance of presenting everything openly and simply.

At the book release event, Srinivas Nayak, president of the Journalist Association, highlighted the need to reflect the impact of journalism on literature, suggesting that it should be preserved in books. Press Club President P. B. Harish Rai urged every journalist to compile their byline articles into a book, stressing that otherwise, their work might be forgotten despite their achievements.

The event began with a warm welcome by senior journalist and multilingual writer Raymond D'cuna Taccode, with thanks also extended by Riana D'cuna. The program was conducted by Bhaskar Rai, Vice President of the Journalist Association.
