Udupi : The incident took place on Monday night when a group of four murdered a young man in Lakshminagar, near Malpe here. The deceased has been identified as Yogish Suvarna (29).
Yogish who was working as supplying Ice for the fishing boats in Malpe. When returning home after the job at night, a gang of four have been beaten to death by swords and escaped, it is said.
It is understood that Yogisha of simple nature has been assassinated for some trivial reason.
A case has been registered at Malpe Police Station and investigation is in progress.
