Mangalore, May 11: After the consignment of Liquid Oxygen by INS Talwar and INS Kolkatta, two more Navy vessels INS TABAR and INS KOCHI carrying liquid Oxygen in 5 cryogenic containers weighing 100 MT and 1400 medical Oxygen cylinders along with two 10ltr High Flow Oxygen Concentrators a gift from Kingdom of Kuwait to the citizens of India. Hon Secretary of Indian Red cross Society(IRCS), Dakshina Kannada Sri S A Prabhakar Sharma and IRCS Karnataka State Management Committee Member Yathish Baikampady received the consignment on behalf of Indian Red cross Society today.
Mangalore customs and NMPT authorities facilitated swift clearance of Consignment. Bharat Kumar Kuthati IFS, Regional Passport Officer, Karnaraka and Nagendra Babu, Protocol Officer were present representing Ministry of External Affairs (MEA). Coast Guard DIG S Babu Venkatesh, Madhan Mohan Asst Commissioner of Mangalore, Binoy Nambiar Nodal Officer for Oxygen, Gokul Das Nayak, Jt Director DIC were present.
