Study of Swamiji’s literature makes life meaningful & purposeful.” said Swami Muktidanandaji, Trustee, Ramakrishna Math, Belur Math & Adhyaksha, Ramakrishna Ashrama, Mysore inaugurating the Value Education Programme for Youths on the occasion of National Youth Day at Ramakrishna Mission, Mangalore.
Captain Brijesh Chowta, who had participated as special invitee in the event said, “Youngsters should understand their responsibility and taking inspiration from Swami Vivekananda they should strive to contribute their mite in the national development. Swami Jitakamanandaji, Head of the Mangalore Ashrama delivered Key Note address.
Inaugural session was followed by interactive sessions by Swami Nirbhayananda Saraswati, Adhyaksha, Ramakrishna Vivekananda Ashrama, Gadag & Bijapur & Amit Amarnath, Founder President of Youth for Parivarthan, Bangalore. This was followed by Panel Discussion.
More than 600 youths from different educational institutions in and around Mangalore attended the event.
Prior to the Seminar Swami Muktidanandaji inaugurated Sarada Devi Adhyayana Kendra, a study hall for students to prepare for competitive exams at Ramakrishna Mission, Mangalore.
