Bantwala, Allipade: St Antony English Medium School marked the *World Drug Abuse Awareness Day on June 26, 2025 with great enthusiasm and a clear message promoting a drug-free lifestyle. The special morning assembly was led by Class 4 students, under the guidance of the class teacher Joyce, aiming to raise awareness about the harmful effects of drug abuse.
The program began with a solemn prayer, followed by a meaningful speech by student Maanvi, who emphasized the significance of the day and the dangers associated with drug use.
A thought-provoking skit was performed by the students, portraying the consequences of drug abuse in a way that was both impactful and easy to understand. The students shared slogans to encourage their peers to stay away from harmful substances.
The Headmistress, addressed the students, advising them to be cautious and avoid taking food or drinks from strangers, warning them about substances that could harm their well-being.
The assembly was beautifully compered by Sinchana. The event served as a meaningful step in educating students and reinforcing the importance of leading a healthy, drug-free life.
