NEW DELHI: The central government has put a break on the yoga guru Baba Ramdev's Patanjali agency, which has released effective medicine to prevent corona virus infection.
The Ayurvedic Institute of Patanjali on Tuesday launched an Ayurvedic medicine called Vijaya Coronil, which claims to be 100 per cent cure for corona virus infections.
However, the central government has instructed not to use the Patanjali drug for corona and has blocked the drug promotion. Information about the drug has been sought from the Ayush Department. There is no information on the ingredients in the drug, the sample of the test, the hospital, where the trial took place. So it was told not to run a drug sale campaign.
The registration of the clinical trial is also being investigated and the AYUSH ministry has currently stopped Patanjali Corona drug sale.
