Mangalore (June 22): The government and the district administration have already taken all the preparations for students to take the exam safely. Students attending the exam is under the responsibility of government and parents should not be included. Minister Kota Srinivasa Poojary said the government had even arranged a bus for a student to take the exam if needed.
In the meeting held at district office on Monday, Speaking at a pre-test preparatory review meeting, he said there are 95 examination centers in the district and an additional 19 centers have been identified. 30,835 S.S.L.C. students are arranged to in 1585 rooms to write the exam. Buses have been made for 367 students from across the border. He said that 1318 students registered in the district and writing the examination in another district have been given the opportunity to take the exam in the respective district.
The paper exam centers are provided with 4 members of the Bharat Scout-Guide organization along with them two each from the Department of Health and Police.
Gram Panchayat, Municipal Corporation, Municipal Council which is responsible for sanitizing test centers. He said the town panchayats and municipalities should act.
District Collector Sindhu B spoke on the occasion. Rupesh suggested that all the officers assigned to the test duty should act under the direction of the Public Education Department.
The meeting was attended by MP Nalin Kumar Kateel, Zilla Panchayath President Meenakshi Shantikodu, Mayor Diwakar, MLAs Sanjeeva Matandur, Rajesh Naik, Vedavasya Kamat, UT. Khadar, Umanatha Kotyan, Member of Parliament L. Bhojay Gowda and others were present.
Malle swamy, deputy director of the Department of Public Education, gave the meeting information on the test preparation.
