Mangalore:- The department of Commerce in collaboration with Internal Quality Assurance Cell organised a National webinar ‘Teaching Strategies’ on March 26,2021 at 6.00pm to 7.00 pm through Google meet. Resource person for the webinar was Dr A. Lourdusamy, Professor of Research in English, Srinivas University Mangalore and Adjunct Professor Milagres College Mangalore.
Webinar was organised with the intention to conduct effective teaching classes and to use different methods of teaching. Lavita Pereira, faculty of Commerce welcomed the gathering.
Rev. Fr. Michael L Santhumayor, Principal, Milagres College, delivered opening remarks and appreciated participants for their registration.
Dr Lourdusamy, began the webinar by sharing problems faced by the teachers during pendamic situations. He shared the students point of view and told to use the technology which will engage the students in the class. He also briefed about effective teaching methods and five innovative teaching strategies with examples.
158 participants were participated in this webinar. Glencia Fernandes, Faculty of Commerce compered the entire programme. Denzil Pinto, Faculty of Economics proposed vote of thanks.
