Mangaluru: The NSS Unit of Canara College, Mangaluru, its Programme Officer, and its NSS Volunteer have been honoured with State-level awards for the year 2021-22 by the Department of Youth Empowerment and Sports, Government of Karnataka, and State NSS Cell, in recognition of meritorious services rendered in the field of NSS.
Seema Prabhu S., the NSS Programme Officer has been awarded the State ' Best NSS Programme Officer'. The NSS Unit of Canara College received the 'Best NSS Unit' State Award. While, Abhin Bangera of Canara College bagged the 'Best NSS Volunteer' State award.
Principal of Canara College Dr. Premalatha V., Seema Prabhu S., and Abhin Bangera received their prestigious award from the Honourable Governor of Karnataka Thawar Chand Gehlot at Raj Bhavan in Bengaluru recently.
